OSU Biodiesel Initiative - Projects
The OSU Biodiesel Initiative is involved in a variety of projects. Currently we are working on a project entitled "Sustainable Biofuel Systems for Undeveloped Regions" where we are designing a self contained sustainable fuel production system for generating electricity in remote villages. We received an EPA P3 Phase 1 grant for our project in Spring 2007. Next Spring, we will present our research to the EPA in Washington DC and compete with universities across the country to receive a second grant to build our fuel system for the village of Narukunibua in Fiji. Click here to read our grant proposal (PDF format). If you would like to work on this project with us, just attend the next meeting or send us an e-mail.
